"Tom's Diner"Of Seinfeld and Suzanne Vega fame! I used to walk by here all the time when I was taking a class at Columbia in 2003, but I never went in. On my last day in New York, I made a few pilgrimages. The first was to Carrie Bradshaw's front stoop (the outside of her Sex and the City apartment), and the next one was to this diner. I liked the fact that they didn't cash in on the Seinfeld fame. The place doesn't even accept credit cards, and has an old fashioned cash register that isn't even digital. And the prices are dirt cheap for NYC!
