On days when we take more than one photo that we like, this is the true dillema of PAD. You cheated, you know :) I cannot say which I would have chosen, I like them both for different reasons. The bench shot is classic, of course. The cheater photo, I LOVE the moment you captured, the perspective and composition - just no the post-editing of the grass. It's overdone to me, and takes away from my loving the image. So - I love the shot, just not the image. I'm jealous of the shot, actually.
I too felt the grass was punched up a little much. I was in a hurry when I made the edit and was focusing more on emphasizing the mud on his hands. Oh well, perhaps another time...
