"Mountains, Cakes, Tea, and Reflections...oh, and Roosters" ;-)On day two of our vacation, we stopped at the Elphin Tea Room. Location: beautiful valley, the middle of nowhere. ...I had told Matt that the random tea rooms in this middle of the countryside usually have the best teas and cakes, so we decided to stop. And I was so glad we did. It was warm enough to sit outside (yay!), the cakes were lovely, the view was gorgeous, and their were chickens or roosters milling around us as we ate, a family of sheep in front of us. And of course I had so much fun capturing this moment in the reflection of the tea pot!
A few things I love about this photo:
ReplyDelete1 - It reminds me of the movie Leap Year, which was not a great movie but was about an American in Scotland.
2 - The composition/reflection remind me to get more creative with my every day shots
3 - I want to jump through my computer and eat that cake.
4 - I adore Matt, because he seems to be SUCH a good sport with your "picture thing" =)
