HA! Everyone asks about those! Those are blood sausages (black pudding)! A staple of the "full English breakfast" (which includes eggs (cooked however you want), bacon (their weird floppy kind, not crispy), sausages, black pudding, steamed tomatoes, steamed mushrooms, toast, and of course, baked beans (the supermarkets have an entire aisle devoted to baked beans here, such is their devotion to them). I mixed it up and instead of the mushrooms and tomatoes added fried potatoes (American style :).
