I tied my all-time best score for ten-pin bowling. Which reminds me, Lori - what else do I miss about Connecticut that I can't get here? Duckpin bowling, that's what! Out here it's not just the lack of duckpin and having to bowl ten-pin that drives me crazy but it's the fact that all the lanes turn the lights off and it's all glow-in-the-dark "cosmic" bowling. Ugh. So it's parents, Friendly's, Dunkin' Donuts, real pizza, and duckpin bowling that we can add to the list.

    I forgot about that league you were in in Rockville ... I'll let Jim know about the duckpin bowling. Do they have Deck Hockey leagues out there? (Sneakers, not roller blades) They did NOT in Arizona, so if they have them in PNW, then it'd have one up on AZ.

    I was in leagues elsewhere too - Vernon (NOT Rockville, you know!), East Hartford, Mansfield, and Manchester.

    I'm pretty sure there's roller blade hockey out here but sneaker-based stuff - no idear. Is ball hockey the same thing?

    I think they do that "bowling in the dark" thing everywhere - they even have it in Aberdeen. I also miss the pizza back home, DunDos and Friendly's!!! Also Dairy Queen, American Chinese food...oh yeah, and my parents and Soul Sister!!! ;-)
