Another nice one. I'll complain just a teeny bit about how close to the left side of the frame the spout is but I'll give high marks for the laptop reflection. Call it a wash. :)
This photo demonstrates a quality that simultaneously frustrates and pleases me. I want to see your reflection in the faceplate but, at the same time, I'm glad I can't (not that I'm not saying I think you're ugly or anything!).
Me and one of the guys in the office today tried to identify the brand of laptop you have on your counter. I said it looks like a Lenovo ThinkPad and he said HP.
I totally agree about the framing, Paul. I took about 5 shots of this, while I was making my coffee, and only the last one captured the computer reflection. Initially I was interested in the repetition of circles...espresso cup, the faceplate, the 'on button,' the milk warmer...but as I got closer and closer, I started to see the reflection of the computer. Satisfied, when I got this last shot, I poured my coffee and downloaded the images. It was only then that noticed that the spout was too close to the edge of the frame, but just didn't want to make the coffee and set up the image again!
I hadn't even thought about including my face as a reflection, but that's a good idea that I can try and experiment with!
It's actually a Dell laptop. I initially thought that the reflection was of my TV, and I was going to call the image 'Morning Ritual,' which is coffee and BBC Breakfast!
Ok, I first thought this was like one of those images where you have to look long enough to see Jesus, because I saw no computer. FINALLY I found it! PHEW!
Amy, Cassie's morning ritual is Barney & Bottle, so you two have similar routines!
