"The Only Thing that Made me Smile Today"For the record, this was not my lunch; it was my colleague's. In the middle of a crappy day, after a series of crappy days, which belong to a crappy week, when he brought this over to the table, I started to laugh out loud. It was the only thing that made me smile today. It might not be as obvious from this picture, but it is a baked potato with tuna salad filling - although the tuna is hilariously overflowing from the potato - yes, it is under there somewhere!
I asked him if I could take a picture of it, and here it is.
I need Tums just to look at this picture!

ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of corned beef hash (Shelley's favorite meal after black-eyed peas with collard greens). It looks kind of like barf and probably shouldn't ever be photographed except for use in a public service announcement. For what, I'll leave for you to decide.
ReplyDeletePlease don't think though that I wouldn't give that dish a try. It sounds perfectly delicious despite the photograph. ;)
