As I said, this week was all about lines for me, for some reason...and just as proof - this was not the picture that I had set out to take. I walk past this playing field on my way into work every day, and today it was such a beautifully sunny and warm day that I tried to capture that, by taking a picture of the field. After I snapped a few pictures, I carried on walking to my office, and these lines just appeared before me!

This is great!! I love the symmetry and geometry of the lines - and the fact that the lines carry over from the source railing, down to the ground, and even in the water. A wonderful mix of color, texture, and shapes.

ReplyDeleteI too like the lines and the reflection of light in both the puddle and the grinder / sidewalk surface. Typically I don't like a harsh light source in the middle of my field of vision or in the center of a photo's frame but here I think it works okay as it reminds the viewer just what it's like to walk into the east in the morning.
