Well, being that I just found out today about my admission to the wonderful world of PAD (thanks Paul!), I found myself scrambling to get something posted as soon as possible.
My son Ben left this creation behind in my fiance's living room as a post-Christmas reminder that he was there.
Welcome Dennis! Before I noticed this was your post, it reminded me of an "Amy-Pic". The composition and colors especially. That's a compliment, because I really like her eye.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the PAD, Dennis! I had to laugh when I saw this last night after I got home. I laughed first because I have tons of Lego pictures and also because right after you left, I took one of the Lego Master Chief on my desk before I left the office myself.
ReplyDeleteI posted that photo in my PAD 2011 Supplemental s directory (which can be found here: http://www.dropbox.com/gallery/3173345/1/PAD%202011?h=dbfff0). I created this Supplementals directory in my Dropbox this morning as a temporary but potentially permanent solution to the question of where to put photos that aren’t exactly on-topic. I may eventually put them on https://key.westeartblouins.com but haven’t decided whether that would be a smart solution.
Ugh - Isn't Blogger run by Google? How come when I paste links into the comment box they aren't automatically enabled as hotlinks?
ReplyDeleteHere are a couple of tests:

So that's it - you need to add the "a href" tags.
ReplyDeleteLAME. Thanks, Google - but please remember your own motto of "Do no evil!"
And, huh? I can't edit my comments once I put them in here??
ReplyDeleteOMG find a new site and tell us where to start posting, will ya???
ReplyDeleteHuh?
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone - it's good to be here. Although, I must admit I am a bit apprehensive as to my lack of skill when compared to some of your pics I've seen on here so far. Please be gentle as I stretch out my wings a little bit!
ReplyDeleteWelcome, Dennis! As Lori said to me when we were starting this: NO comparisons! The goal is simply to take and upload one photo a day. If it makes you feel better, I am also apprehensive - I think everyone is when it comes to sharing photographs! Fear not, just plow through :)
